Death In Brunswick: A Sam Neill Retrospective
Woop Woop Film Club presents DEATH IN BRUNSWICK and a look back on Sam Neill’s cinematic legacy. Arguably one of his most understated but brilliant roles, sees Neill as a 34-year-old manchild who still lives and abides by his mother, take on a job at a bodgy Melbourne pub where his naivety causes him to find the woman of his dreams and to murder his kitchenhand. John Clarke’s performance as Neill’s true-blue ockers sidekick is also a standout of the film and one that perfectly encapsualtes Australian dry wit. So join us for a look back at one of New Zealand’s greatest sons (we Aussies also claim him like the Pavlova and Russell Crowe).
