Skelton Grange Environment Centre Fundraising Open Day
Join us for the Skelton Grange Environment Centre Fundraising Open Day on Saturday 5th September.
Our green oasis beside the River Aire, just 2 miles from Leeds City Centre, is a former industrial site that has been transformed into a haven for wildlife and people. Join us in celebrating it at our Open Day!
Our popular open day will include a range of activities across the beautiful nature area – including the woodland, ponds and meadows on the site, which have all been developed since the Environment Centre started.
There will be craft activities for all ages – watch this space or follow us on social media for updates! And we will also be hosting our usual games, woodland play and more.
The Skelton Grange cafe will be open for tea, coffee and other refreshments. Homemade cakes and savoury treats will also be available. And we will be firing up our pizza oven!
The event is free but donations are much appreciated. Suggested donation is just £1 for adults and kids run free 🙂
Any donations and profits from the cafe will go towards TCV’s work at Skelton Grange to help us provide more opportunities for young people and for volunteers. If you want to find out more about this work – please chat to a member of the TCV team on the day.
