Oulton Institute
Built on land donated to the people of Oulton and Woodlesford by Edmund Calverley of Oulton Hall, the Institute stands proudly at the heart of the village. Steeped in history, The Institute is still a current, relevant place for the people of Oulton and Woodlesford to meet, dance and mingle.
Run by a volunteer committee since its inception, The Institute became a registered charity many years ago and is still run as a charitable trust for the benefit of the villagers.
Our main hall seats up to 150 people, and is regularly used for birthday parties, concerts, theatre groups and dancing classes.
