YAFTA

YAFTA International is a specialist screen acting academy based in Leeds.
Their Spotlight Accredited, 12 month diploma courses for young people aged 10+ and adults 16+ are designed for those looking to progress their acting career in film and television.

Founded by Dr Charlotte Armitage in 2013, the Academy has seen many of its students and graduates appear in leading productions for the BBC, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Channel 4, ITV and many more.

The Spotlight Accredited, 12 month Acting for Screen Diploma is an exclusive offering that combines the theoretical aspects of screen acting alongside the practical understanding of the industry needed in order to have a successful career in film and TV. Taught by drama school educated and experienced tutors, our students are encouraged to learn and develop their screen skills within a supportive and knowledgeable environment.

Alongside the diploma courses, the academy offers weekly acting classes both online and in-person, and industry professional workshops.
The Academy is also home to YAFTA Talent Agency, an award winning, PMA registered agency for screen actors.
