Cinnamon Kitchen Unveils Week-Long Explosion of Colour to Celebrate Holi

2nd March 2026

Cinnamon Kitchen Leeds will mark Holi with a vibrant week-long celebration from Monday 2nd to Sunday 8th March, inviting guests to experience India’s Festival of Colour through a limited-edition Holi Sharing Feast and three theatrically colour-dusted cocktails. The special programme will bring bold flavours, striking presentation and communal dining to the heart of the city in honour of one of India’s most joyful festivals.

Holi, known as the Festival of Colour, marks the arrival of spring and symbolises the triumph of good over evil, bringing communities together across India and around the world to throw vibrant coloured powder, dance, sing and share festive food and drink with family and friends. To celebrate the occasion, Cinnamon Kitchen Leeds, founded by acclaimed chef Vivek Singh, has announced a limited-time Holi Sharing Feast, designed for communal dining and inspired by the joy, colour and togetherness at the heart of the festival.

Priced at £35 per person with a minimum of two guests, the Holi Sharing Feast is available in both meat and vegetarian menus and showcases dishes inspired by regional Indian favourites.

Both menus begin with a trio of bold starters. The meat option includes the sweet and spicy Chinjabi chilli chicken glazed with sesame, soy and honey, served with curried yoghurt, while the vegetarian selection showcases the signature salt-baked beetroot hummus with Wensleydale cheese and marinated endives.

For the main course, each menu includes two vibrant dishes designed for sharing. The meat-led menu features Cinnamon Kitchen’s celebrated Old Delhi-style butter chicken finished with dried fenugreek leaf alongside a rich Lamb Roganjosh. The vegetarian feast presents the fragrant Tellicherry root vegetable biryani served with coconut cucumber raita and house pickle, paired with tandoori mushroom in spinach and garlic sauce.

Both menus are served with freshly baked naan, aromatic pilau rice and an additional chef’s side, carefully selected to complement the dishes.

To finish, guests are served a classic Indian festival favourite: warm Kolkata-style gulab jamun with ice cream, alongside the sorbet of the day for a refreshing end to the meal.

Adding an extra burst of colour to the celebrations, Cinnamon Kitchen will be serving three limited-edition cocktails throughout the week, inspired by the vibrant gulal powders traditionally thrown during Holi festivities across India.

· Golden Masala, a radiant yellow serve, pairs ripe mango with smoky, warming spice.

· Rani Rouge, a rich ruby red, blends sweet peach with juicy berries.

· Emerald Refresher, a vivid green creation, combines crisp cucumber, fresh mint and apple for a bright, uplifting finish.

Each cocktail is priced at £12.00 and will be finished with a theatrical dusting of edible colour, capturing the joyful spirit of the Festival of Colour.

Chef Vivek Singh comments, “Holi is pure joy. It’s colour, energy and togetherness, with food at the centre of it all. We wanted to capture that spirit at Cinnamon Kitchen and create something vibrant, generous and made to be shared. Creating a place in Leeds city centre where friends and family can come together to celebrate is at the heart of our offering and there’s no better occasion to bring that energy to the table.”
