For their maiden trip up north, The London Arab Orchestra comes to Leeds under the direction of the talented maestro Basel Saleh. Featuring five musicians and a 15-voice choir, the ensemble brings together the rich traditions of Arabic music.

Expect a captivating programme of traditional, classical and contemporary Arabic music, alongside original compositions and arrangements. The distinctive sounds of the Oud, Qanun, Ney and Darbuka combine with Western instruments and choral voices to create a rich, vibrant and deeply textured musical experience.

Fresh from performances at the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican, and collaborations with internationally acclaimed artists including Damon Albarn and Gorillaz, The London Arab Orchestra is bringing its incredible sound to Leeds for the very first time.

This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the UK’s most exciting Arabic music ensembles live – a performance not to be missed.
