The weather in the UK is known for its unpredictability. One day it’s blistering sunshine and the next it’s raining cats and dogs. When you’re on holiday or have energetic kids to entertain the rain can’t stop play – so here at family activity Hoop we’ve compiled the top family activities to do in Leeds so you can just take your pick!

6. Through the Ages for All Ages Tour

Younger visitors will get the chance to handle some historic items from the collection, and hear stories of some of the people who lived at Temple Newsam.
7. Mummy Buddy Community Leeds

A community matching mums-to-be and new mums with a Mummy Buddy (someone local who is a stage ahead in their motherhood journey) who offers friendly support, guidance and reassurance.

Head to your local store and get crafty as a family. You’ll be shown how to make your very own windchime, decorate foam shapes and much more.
9. Funky Jives: Fun, Funky Freestyle Dance and Movement Sessions
Dance, Baby & Toddler Groups for 1 to 4 years

Fun, freestyle dance and movement classes for young children and adults. Enjoy dancing along to great song tracks and using pom poms, scarves, ribbons, maracas and hoops.
10. Jackrabbit Paint Your Own Pottery
Pottery for 5 years and above
Weekdays & weekends
Painting pottery is a great way to spend a couple of hours being creative. This studio is perfect for children to indulge their imaginations on a rainy day.
