The Love Exploring app uses the magic of augmented reality to bring to life amazing sights on a smartphone – opening up magical worlds throughout the year including Dinosaur Trails, Bug Hunts, Fairy Walks and many more.

Mega Mini-Beast Trail

If you are looking for something FUN and Free to do with the kids, look no further!

Love Exploring is back with an augmented reality game all about the marvellous world of Mini Mega-Beasts.

The trail is available in parks across the city, and will have you tracking down creepy crawlies and answering questions about each one!

Just download the FREE Love Exploring app to your mobile phone and get ready for some free family friendly fun and a walk too!

The Mega Mini-Beast trail is available at Armley Park, Gotts Park, Bramley Falls Park, Bramley Park, Brickfield Park, Meanwood Park, Cross Flatts Park, East End Park, Golden Acre Park, Harehills Park, Holbeck Moor, Horsforth Hall Park, Jailey Fields, Kirkstall Abbey, Leeds City Centre, Leeds Dock, Middleton Park, Potternewton Park, Roundhay Park, Springhead Park, Temple Newsam and Wetherby INGS

Dinosaur Trail

The Dinosaur Safari is on offer throughout the year in the following Leeds parks: Armley/Gotts Park, Bramley & Bramley Falls Park, Cross Flatts Park, Golden Acre Park, Hall Park, Meanwood Park, Middleton Park, Roundhay Park, Temple Newsam. Plus, in Leeds city centre and some local parks – check the app for your nearest park!

The app is FREE to download to your smartphone, and lets you join a Dinosaur Safari through an augmented reality (AR) game where you encounter life-like Dinosaurs along the route that roar and swish their tails. The map on your smartphone will guide you to the nearest Dinosaur, you’ll get an alert when you are close, then view it on your screen and take a photo to remember your fun day out! There’s even a Dinosaur quiz to play, so you can test your knowledge of the Jurassic age.

 

Simply download the app from Love Exploring, the Google Store or the Apple Store and select Leeds; then click on the game or local trail you want to start and you’re off…

As well as the Dinosaur Safaris, the Love Exploring app includes some of Leeds’ well-loved walking trails showcasing many of our city’s highlights. There are over 20 walking trails to discover, including the Street Art Trail in Leeds city centre, with its ever-growing collection and the relaxing Mindfulness Trail in Roundhay Park. The games and guided trails have been designed to be enjoyed by everyone.
