This August, The Drag Brunch Leeds is bringing a slice of the Costa Blanca to Leeds with a Benidorm-themed drag brunch, inspired by the beloved British series. Known as the city’s only consistent drag brunch series, they’ve previously thrilled guests with smash hits like the Spice Girls takeover and the wild Country Hoe-Down. Now, they’re transforming their next-door event space into the full Solana Resort experience, complete with iconic locations like the lively Neptune’s Bar, capturing the all-inclusive chaos that made the show a fan favorite. Liverpool legend Crissy Rock is set to join the fabulous cast of COCO, Sillexa, and Echo at the upcoming Benidrag brunch. Best known for her breakout role in the critically acclaimed 1994 film Ladybird, Ladybird, Crissy went on to become a household name as Janey York, the sharp-tongued, no-nonsense manager of the Solana Resort in the hit series Benidorm. She later took the jungle by storm in the 2011 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and has since become a powerhouse on the stand-up comedy circuit, known for her unfiltered, razor-sharp wit. Now, fans can catch her reprising her iconic role as Janey York on August 30th, making a special guest appearance at Benidrag.
