Bringing Le Mans 2025 to Yorkshire at The Motorist
23rd May 2025
This June, motorsport fans won’t need to travel to France to experience the world’s most iconic endurance race. Instead, The Motorist, the automotive capital of the North, is hosting a fully immersive, three-day Le Mans Festival from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June 2025, bringing the thrill of the 24 Hours of Le Mans to life right here in Yorkshire.

Located in Sherburn-in-Elmet, Leeds, The Motorist is known for its petrolhead focused events, stunning cars and bikes, artisan food and coffee, and a buzzing, unforgettable atmosphere. This weekend festival promises a packed schedule of live entertainment, live race coverage, pop-up vendors, a famous Le Mans race car on display, signed merchandise and on-site camping to complete the full Le Mans experience. Not to mention, exclusive behind-the-scenes access from United Autosports – proud Yorkshire team, two-time Le Mans winners, and friends of The Motorist – who will be fielding four cars at Le Mans 2025 in the pursuit of LMP2, LMP2 Pro/Am and LMGT3 glory.
Alec Howarth, Managing Director at The Motorist said: “we’re incredibly excited to bring the energy of Le Mans to The Motorist for what promises to be a truly unforgettable weekend. With the support of our friends at United Autosports, we’re offering fans something they won’t find anywhere else in the UK; an authentic, 24-hour celebration of arguably the most iconic race in motorsport history.”
The weekend shifts into gear Friday night as campers arrive and settle in for an evening of great food, drinks, and a live entertainment. During the day on Saturday, The Motorist will be hosting an “Inspired by Motorsport” car meet, inviting motorsport fans to showcase their pride and joy whilst enjoying a relaxed atmosphere before the main event commences.

At 3pm, the legendary Le Mans race will commence and those with VIP wristbands will have access to Club Le Mans, a dedicated overnight viewing lounge complete with premium seating, on-board car camera feeds, exclusive updates from the United Autosports team, pre-recorded interviews, live leaderboard tracking, and even signed merchandise.
For any visitors looking to take a short break from all the racing action on Saturday evening, popular automotive YouTuber Adam C will be hosting a Le Mans themed quiz. Visitors will be able to enter their own teams, testing their motorsport knowledge whilst competing for a range of unique prizes such as signed merchandise.
“It’s really exciting to see the Le Mans experience coming to Yorkshire” said Scarlett Whittell, Marketing Manager at United Autosports. “It’s an incredibly special year for the United Autosports team, returning as defending race winners in the LMP2 class and celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mclaren’s legendary Le Mans victory – and we look forward to bringing the Motorist’s guests closer to all the action at La Sarthe.”
Sunday will bring the event to a fitting finish with the final hours of the race and a celebration of Father’s Day, perfect for families looking to mark the day with something extraordinary.
Camping tickets and VIP wristbands granting visitors 24-hour access to the venue are available online through The Motorist website. Tickets are limited so make sure to get yours before it’s too late.
