Curated Makers hosts Trinity Leeds’ new market showcasing the best of local independents. 

 

Curated Makers hosted their first Curated Makers Market on the 19th and 20th of March, showcasing eleven independent local businesses and their handmade products to the shoppers of Trinity Leeds. This new market will become the monthly destination, within Trinity Leeds, to find locally made gifts with real people and stories behind them.

The opening weekend was a particularly busy weekend within the centre, making this market an incredible opportunity for makers to share in the glory of reaching high street shoppers. The buzzing shopping centre welcomed an array of northern businesses from candle makers Olive & B, dried flower florist Pampas & Bloom and Leeds based bean to bar chocolate makers, Frankly Delicious. The makers were overwhelmed by the positive responses from passing customers and enthralled in sharing the stories and craft behind their products.

The followingly monthly markets are set to double in size, giving even more makers a chance to sell their products alongside more than 120 national and international brands under one iconic roof. Make sure to save the date for when Curated Makers Market will return to the events space outside M&S and ROX at Trinity Leeds on 22nd – 24th April, 20th – 22nd May, and 24th – 26th June.

Following a successful pop-up shop within Trinity Leeds, Manchester-based business, Curated Makers, has not only had their store extended but is also planning to relocate to a larger space within the shopping centre. Curated Makers will be temporarily closed at the beginning of May with plans to reopen shortly afterwards with a brand new store offering an even larger, more diverse range of local small businesses.

The next Curated Makers Market will return on Friday 22nd April until Sunday 24th April. Followed by the 20th – 22nd May and 24th – 26th June.
