Leeds Grand Theatre may be closed for maintenance but, fear not, we have recently announced several incredible new shows for 2025, plus the UK’s longest-running music hall has plenty of shows to fill your summer evenings.

Calamity Jane: Tue 4 – Sat 8 Mar 2025
Gosh, almighty! Grab a posse because the whip-crackin’ musical comedy classic Calamity Jane is rollin’ on over the plains to The Grand. Based on the much-loved Doris Day movie, this plumb fancy new production stars Carrie Hope Fletcher (Cinderella, Les Misérables).

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: Tue 25 – Sat 29 March 2025
The smash-hit London Palladium production by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber returns to Leeds Grand Theatre! It features much-loved pop and musical theatre classics, including Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door, There’s One More Angel in Heaven and Go, Go, Go Joseph.
National Theatre’s War Horse: Tue 19 Aug – Sat 6 Sept 2025
Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama takes audiences on an extraordinary journey from rural Devon to the trenches of WW1 France. South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company brings breathing, galloping, and charging horses to thrilling life on stage.

Leeds Grand Youth Theatre presents Little Shop of Horrors: Thu 25 – Sun 28 July
Following the sell-out success of last year’s production of The Addams Family, Leeds Grand Youth Theatre (LGYT) will be taking over The Varieties stage for the 11th year this summer with a brand-new revival of the ever-popular horror musical Little Shop of Horrors.
