AMT Headingley Stadium will host a huge international rugby league double header on Saturday 2 November when England Men and Women take to the field as part of the ABK Beer International Series.
England Women face Wales in their first outing since their huge win against France in Toulouse earlier this year. The fixture against Wales provides Stuart Barrow’s England side the perfect opportunity to prepare for next year’s historic trip to Las Vegas, where they will face the reigning World Champions, Australia, as part of a three-game Ashes series.
After that, England Men take on Samoa in the final game of their historic two-match test series. The series, which will be Samoa’s first ever in England, offers Head Coach Shaun Wane and his team an opportunity to avenge the bitter disappointment of their World Cup Semi Final defeat when these two sides last met in November 2022.
Stephen Crichton’s golden point drop goal sent Samoa to their first ever World Cup Final the last they faced England. Now, Crichton and his Samoan teammates will return to the Northern Hemisphere in Autumn to reignite this fierce, newfound rivalry. Expect skill, passion and pride – including the traditional Siva Tau Samoan War Dance – when the Pacific Island nation head to England for this historic international series.
