Coronavirus Update

This page was updated on Tuesday 5 January 2021

Here at Visit Leeds, our priority is to keep visitors and locals safe and healthy. The links below pre-date the national lockdown announcement on Monday 4 January 2021 and relate only to when the Tier system has been reinstated and the Stay at Home message has been lifted.

However you can still Enjoy Leeds at Home, including which restaurants are operating take-aways and which online activities you can still take advantage of. And why not browse the site and plan for when you’re able to visit and check out our handy A-Z Guide.

Our city always has an answer for ‘what’s next?’

Step through the doors of renowned galleries and exhibitions to find the inspiration within. Sample the vibrant independent food scene, and the crackling energy of cocktail bars and bustling pubs. Or hit the shops, bagging big brands and quirky finds. Then there’s the great outdoors. Sprawling parks, historic estates, and the beauty of the Dales. So what’s next?

The logo for Visit England's We're Good To Go standard

"We're Good To Go"

VisitBritain / VisitEngland have launched a UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark to provide a ‘ring of confidence’ for tourism as the sector works towards reopening. “We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. So when you see this logo in windows, on websites and on social media, you can be reassured these places are safe to visit.
