first direct bank arena is a major entertainment venue located in the vibrant city centre of Leeds, hosting live music, comedy, entertainment shows and sporting events.
Since opening in July 2013, the arena has played host to headline international artists such as Elton John, Stormzy, Cirque Du Soleil, Stereophonics, Dua Lipa, and Ed Sheeran.
The arena’s unique “super theatre” style configuration is designed to enhance the arena experience, with all seats facing the stage and high quality acoustics to provide the best sound experience in the UK. Spectators and performers alike, will enjoy a more intimate atmosphere with reduced viewing distances, relative to the venue which has a capacity of 13,000.
first direct bank arena is operated by Legends Global; the world leader in venue management, marketing and development, who also operate the AO Arena in Manchester and the Utilita Arena In Newcastle.
