Embracing Arts – Under the Sea

Dive into the ocean in our under the sea adventure, make friends with the fish, sea urchins, jellyfish and a beluga whale as you search for the octopus’s garden through the wonders of the sea.
This sensory story is led by 2 practitioners. Using intensive interaction and sensory engagement to encourage play, creativity and communication. This session is fully inclusive and accessible to children with additional needs.

Embracing Arts is a theatre company dedicated to creating work for children with special educational needs and/or life limiting conditions. Their interactive, sensory sessions are tailored to the unique needs of each audience and use storytelling, music and song to entertain, engage and educate.
This event is co-produced by the British Library and Leeds Libraries

Taking place at:

Hunslet Community Hub and Library – 11am

Moor Allerton Community Hub- 2pm

A free family-friendly event recommended for children aged 5 to 10 years old. All children must accompanied by an adult.
