Politics, Power and Protest Sketch Walk: A Suffragette History of Leeds
Gather with Leeds Sanctuary and local artist and historian, Clifford Stead, for a Sketch Walk focusing on the history of the Suffragette movement in Leeds. We’ll be reflecting on the rights of women and girls in the city today, while sketching key areas in the city centre.
The Walk will be in Leeds city centre (meeting point to be confirmed) at 5.30pm on Tuesday 08 September. No prior experience or knowledge of either history or sketching is required, and we’ll provide you with paper and a pencil!
