Workshop: Korean Calligraphy
Discover Korean culture through the art of Hangeul calligraphy. In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the shapes of the Korean alphabet and practise turning letters into your own expressive designs.
Starting with simple strokes, you’ll build up to writing your name or a short Korean phrase, with guidance along the way. Take your time, experiment with different styles, and enjoy creating something personal.
You don’t need to know Korean or have tried calligraphy before – beginners are warmly welcome!
This is a Leeds City of Languages Festival event. Check the full programme at leedscityoflanguages.leeds.ac.uk
