Leeds International Piano Competition, ‘The Leeds’, as it’s called by those in the know, is probably the highlight of the international calendar for those who love pianists and the beautiful music they create. The competition gathers the best of the best from all over the world with The second round (8th-10th September) and Semi Final (12th-14th September) held in The Great Hall of University of Leeds followed by the electrifying Final (17th-18th September) in the iconic Leeds Town Hall.

It’s not just the professionals who can take part in the fun. Have you always dreamt of playing the piano but didn’t know where to start? Learn to Play in a Day with a professional and patient piano teachers. Plus look out for pop-up events across the city, featuring the sculptures of Pianodrome, the talented Tabor Piano Ambassadors, and a host of local musicians and artists!
