Action Against Hunger puts on once-in-a-lifetime Moveable Feast for Leeds’ foodies

1st March 2018

On the 14th March, Leeds will host Action Against Hunger’s Moveable Feast for the first time. Lucky diners will have the opportunity to access some of Leeds’ most exclusive dining areas, whilst enjoying a specially curated menu together with a thoughtfully prepared wine pairing. Guests will attend a drinks reception before rotating between four renowned restaurants, enjoying a unique course at each venue, which has been specifically designed for the event.

To begin the evening, Below Stairs will serve uniquely crafted cocktails encompassing sweet, sour, umami and salt tastes to activate the palate ahead of the four-course menu. Diners will then be escorted to some of Leeds most exclusive venues;

• Elizabeth Cottam & Mark Owen will welcome guests to HOME, which is renowned for their informal fine dining offering. Guests will experience familiar British flavours using amazing local produce. They have already earned acclaim from several national critics in their first six months of opening.

• Reflecting Leeds’ past and present, D&D Crafthouse offers stunning views across the city. Guests will be seated at the chef’s counter, offering diners a unique insight into the inner workings of the kitchen.

• Located within the listed antique Hepper House, Iberica’s grand private dining room will host the supper club guests where they will enjoy authentic Spanish tapas.

• Offering contemporary Chinese cuisine, Tattu will host the event within their stunning private dining room, surrounded by marbled walls and seated around a grand dining table.

Liz Cottam, Co-creater of HOME said: “We welcomed the opportunity to get involved with Action Against Hunger’s first Moveable Feast event in Leeds.
