Ambiente Celebrates International Sherry Week

Ambiente Tapas celebrates International Sherry Week with a five-course sherry paired dinner on Thursday 10^th November 2022 at 7pm in its  Ambiente Tapas Leeds restaurant.

International Sherry Week is an annual festival that brings together the vibrant worldwide community of Sherry-lovers in a myriad of innovative and inspirational global events, both online and offline.

For the 9th year International Sherry Week, the world’s largest celebration of wines from Southern Spain, will bring the delights of this fabulously versatile wine to homes, bars, restaurants and wine stores alike across four continents throughout the week of 7th – 13th November 2022.

Ambiente Tapas will be celebrating sherry week with an exclusive 5 course sherry paired dinner on Thursday 10^th November 2022 at 7pm.

The sherry dinner will celebrate the revered sherries from Bodegas Gonzalez Byass, a famous sherry producer based in Jerez de la Fontera, Spain. You’ll enjoy five courses of tapas, created exclusively for sherry week by Executive Head Chef Johnny Cliff. And of course, each course is matched to a Bodegas Gonzalez Byass Sherry by official Sherry Educator and Group General Manager, Rob Scott- South.

The Gonzalez Byass sherries on our tasting menu range from dry all the way through to sweet and have been chosen to provide a wide overview of the different styles of sherry available.

We’re excited to announce that Hamish Bredin, Business Development Manager at Bodegas Gonzalez Byass, will be joining on the evening to provide full tutelage on the sherries on our sherry week tasting menu.
