Blind Tyger
Cocktail Bar & Drinking Den. Tucked away above its sister-bar Sandinista on Cross Belgrave Street in the Northern Quarter of Leeds.
Whilst operating a relaxed door policy, you’d have to be looking for the subtle entrance to discover the text riddled staircase that leads up to the dark and opulent little bar.
Expect cosy candle-lit booth seating, exquisite spirits and homemade nectars. Swing-jazz, electric blues, chilled dance and subtle hip hop add to the intimate atmosphere and the small bar team have put together a drinks menu to suit.
Their cocktails are a carefully considered list of extravagant pours and delicate mixes that take inspiration from classic serves, whilst homemade infused spirits create delicious blends such as the popular Gospel Sour; Maple Smoked W.L Weller Bourbon hand shaken with honey, chocolate, vanilla and a whipped egg white.
A fine choice of craft beers and bottled ales can be also found on the menu along with hand-selected wines from the world’s best vine regions.
Whether you make a bee line for this curious little haunt, or simply stumble across it, you won’t be disappointed!
Cocktail master classes are also available, visit the website for more details.
