The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes
A secret Brotherhood, bound for centuries by its shared passion for the finer things in life and the British strength of character, is set to shed its clandestine cloak in Leeds this November. For the first time, this mysterious society is inviting the gentlefolk of the city into its fold to enjoy the finest food and drink, and celebrate the nation’s shared love of sport and the joy of competition.
This is the concept behind The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes. Located on New Briggate, adjacent to the Victorian Grand Arcade, The Brotherhood will breathe life back into the space which was once home to Leeds iconic Gatecrasher club, re-purposing it for a more grown-up, sophisticated crowd. It offers the discerning gentlemen and gentlewomen of the city a new bar experience; one which celebrates the fulfilment that the pursuit of sport adds to the quality life.
Featuring nine HD screens which will broadcast a range of sporting fixtures, high-quality surround sound speakers and headphone ports which offer customers the option to tune in and switch between multiple sports channels; The Brotherhood will recreate the stadium experience of live sport and combine it with the comforts of great food, good friends, grand surroundings and the best British beverages. The architectural include a reclaimed floor from a former sports stadium and its refined interiors are adorned with sporting paraphernalia and artefacts.
Food and drink play a key part of The Brotherhood proposition with a British-inspired menu offering home-made pies, locally-brewed beers and a special cocktail menu featuring British-made spirits and liqueurs.
