Glorious Technicolour presents: Pretty Red Dress (2022)
Glorious Technicolour is a Leeds-based film programme that celebrates and spotlights Black and Queer stories on the big screen. For our first screening, and part of Scalarama 2026, we’ll be showing Pretty Red Dress (2022) at Wharf Chambers. The film follows a South London family—a recently incarcerated father, his singer girlfriend, and their teenage daughter—whose lives are upended when the father is discovered wearing the glamorous red dress he bought for his girlfriend’s audition.
There will be a special, surprise intro and all attendees can collect a free, commemorative zine!

9:30pm – Film End
