Herbie Hopkins
Herbie Hopkins is a songwriter from Leeds.
His songs are often about anatomy, nocturnal landscapes, and supernatural self-discovery. He combine vivid lyrical imagery with spectral, finger-picked guitar parts. The musicians who accompany him are skilled improvisers and embellish his songs with free improvisation. Together, their music is sparklingly immediate and uniquely expressive.
His debut album ‘Kyra’ and the single ‘Night Sand’, were released with Lamplight Social Records earlier this year.
