Leeds400: Code, Craft, Create
This year Leeds celebrates its official 400th birthday, so we’ll be getting creative and exploring the city’s official Royal Charter. There will be crafts inspired by 17th-century lettering and wax seals, Lego challenges that capture the past and might also predict the future… and coding that literally shines a light on our history. Taking place at various venues across the city:
Tuesday 27th October, 1pm-2pm – Chapel Allerton Library
Wednesday 28th October, 10.30am-3pm – Morley Community Hub and Library
Wednesday 28th October, 1.30pm-2.30pm – Moor Allerton Community Hub and Library
Wednesday 28th October, 2pm-3pm – Guiseley Library
Wednesday 28th October, 2.30pm-3.30pm – Gildersome Library
Thursday 29th October, 1.30pm-3pm – The Compton Centre Community Hub and Library
Thursday 29th October, 1.30pm-3pm – Leeds City Library
Friday 30th October, 1.30pm-2.30pm – Bramley Community Hub and Library
A free family-friendly event recommended for children aged 7 and over. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
