Royal Literary Fund Reading Round with Testament
Join us at Leeds Central Library for a special event led by acclaimed poet, playwright and performer Testament as he reads a short story and a poem followed by discussion.
Reading Round is a welcoming, shared reading experience where a writer reads short stories and poems followed by an informal discussion together in a relaxed, friendly environment – you can even just come and listen!
The event is free and no preparation or prior knowledge is needed – just curiosity, and a desire to listen to a short story/ some poetry. Testament will select the some stimulating texts and read them to you.
Whether you regularly enjoy the benefits of literature read aloud or are coming for the first time come discover the pleasure of reading in good company and experience literature through listening or sharing fresh perspectives. Sign up for one or all 3 events.
