Crash Records

The ground floor carries a broad range of 7″ singles / LPs / CDs as well as a wide selection of official merchandise. Crash is also a ticket agent for all major concert venues in the area, and of course, the Leeds Festival!

The ground floor caters for Rock / Indie and Alternative on one side and Punk / Hardcore and Metal on the other. There is also a huge range of classic albums on CD for £5.99. All of our stock is brand new, we do not sell second hand / used CDs.

Over the years the ground floor has played host to a number of instore signings by bands such as Backyard Babies / Less Than Jake, Lamb Of God and most recently the local band Sky Larkin. We are also a booking agent for Cavendish Travel, selling a wide range of tickets and coach travel packages to venues outside of Leeds.

The Basement at Crash has now closed (February 2009) The basement attracted customers from all over the North of England, many local DJs and even a few TV celebrities and footballers.

The racks in the basement were crammed with all the latest RnB / Hip-Hop / House / DnB / Nu-Jazz / Funk and Disco tunes on vinyl and CD. Darius Syrossian and Paul Brown dealt with all the important suppliers of dance and hip hop music, and Crash was also one of the very few shops in the country that helped to compile the hugely influential “Cool Cuts” chart.

Crash still has a large amount of vinyls and CDs from the Basement that are now being sold online so if there is anything you’re after from the Basement days feel free to check out there collection on Discogs or get in touch. If there is a particular 12″, LP or CD that would normally have been stocked in the Basement that you are looking for then please get in touch with the company, and they will try to order it in for you.
