Friends of Photography
Love taking photos? So do we! Whether you’re snapping pics on your phone, working with a DSLR, or just starting out with photography, you’re warmly invited to join our monthly Friends of Photography meet-up.
This is a relaxed and welcoming space for anyone aged 18+ who enjoys photography in any form, from mobile shots to pro-level gear, whether you’re a hobbyist, amateur, or somewhere in between.
Come along to share your photos, pick up new tips, have a chat, and connect with others who love capturing the world through a lens. It’s all about learning from each other, having fun, and celebrating creativity.
The sessions are hosted by local photographer Paul Abraham, and there’s even a chance to take part in a group exhibition at The Mill Gallery next year!
No pressure, no pretension, just good vibes and great photos. Hope to see you there!
Pay As You Feel Pricing
This talk runs on a Pay As You Feel basis, with a suggested donation of £3–£10, but please feel free to contribute whatever you can. We never want cost to be a barrier to creativity and learning, so pay what feels right for you.
To help guide you, here are our suggested tiers:
£3 – For those on a low income or tighter budgets
£6 – The standard rate to help cover running costs
£10+ – For supporters who can contribute a little extra to help keep events accessible
No questions asked — everyone is welcome.
