Guest Speaker – All in the best possible taste: 50 years of style, with Dr Jade Halbert
Fashion historian Dr Jade Halbert takes a look at British taste in fashion since the 1970s. But where did this idea of a national and coherent ‘British’ taste come from? And what role has M&S played in its formation? Jade will explore how M&S has been central to our understanding of ‘good’ taste in British fashion, and discuss what role it might play in its future.
Free event, refreshments included.
