Luisa Omielan
‘God is a Woman the Musical’
Imagine if the Bible had been translated by women. This one-woman show from British BAFTA Breakthrough comedian Luisa Omielan is a pitch for a musical – think a Female Book of Mormon, before it got funded or found a producer.
This time, it’s all about Mary Magdalene. Let’s rewrite Herstory
Luisa Omielan is an Edinburgh Fringe Veteran, with previous stand-up specials ‘What Would Beyonce Do?!’, ‘Am I Right Ladies?!’, ‘Politics for Bitches’ and ‘God is a Woman’.
Last Year she sold all her belongings and moved to the United States to develop this show. After 12 months travelling across America with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Bernie.
She is back in the U.K with a few exclusive workshop dates. Come see what all the fuss is about. Expect to get involved.
