Raga@7: Resonance – Ode to Call of the Valley
‘Resonance – Ode to Call of the Valley’ is a new concert series inspired by the legendary creations Call of the Valley and Valley Recalls, immortalised by Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia (Bansuri) and Pandit Shivkumar Sharma (Santoor).
These works remain milestones of Indian classical music, blending melody, rhythm, and atmosphere into timeless soundscapes.
Continuing this legacy, Resonance features Ninad Daithankar (Santoor), disciple of Pt. Shivkumar Sharma; Saurabh Vartak (Bansuri), disciple of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia; and Saleel Tambe (Tabla), a reputed accompanist across the UK and Europe.
Together, this trio embody their gurus’ spirit with contemporary sensitivity, offering audiences a rich, refreshing fragrance of Indian classical tradition.
