Lines of Enquiry: Drawings from the Collection
This display brings together a range of drawings from the Leeds Museums and Galleries nationally renowned works on paper collection which illuminate the varied roles sketches and preparatory drawings play in the creative process.
The selection of works provides an insight into the thought process and creative decision making of individual artists. Often never intended for public view, these drawings capture moments of experimentation, and refinement – tracing how initial ideas evolve into fully realised compositions.
Subject to opening hours.
