Refugee Week: A Sketch Walk
Gather with Leeds Sanctuary and local artist and historian, Clifford Stead, for a Sketch Walk in honour of Refugee Week. We’ll be curating a relaxed, creative environment for learning about our city’s rich history of welcoming refugees, and about the positive impact that people seeking sanctuary have had on our culture, economy, and community.
The Walk will be in Leeds city centre (meeting point to be confirmed) at 5.30pm on Tuesday 16 June. No prior experience or knowledge of either history or sketching is required, and we’ll provide you with a sketchbook and pencil!
