How to Sew Zips, Hems and Pockets with Alison Teece UK
Please note – this workshop is only suitable for those who are competent in treading and using a domestic sewing machine.
Join us at Swarthmore for this skill packed day of sewing. You will learn how to sew in a standard zip (skirt, trouser zip etc.). Alison will instruct you in how to sew professional looking hems using both machine and hand stitching. Finally, you will learn how to add pockets into a side seam.
If you have any access, mobility or other health issues which you think could impact your experience of the workshop, do to let us know in advance and we will aim to make reasonable adjustments where possible, to ensure you have a positive experience.
We request reasonable notice of at least 2 working days to be able to action any adjustments.
Any information disclosed to Swarthmore will be relayed to the workshop facilitator.
