Celebrating Black History Month: A Sketch Walk
Gather with Leeds Sanctuary and local artist and historian, Clifford Stead, for a Sketch Walk in honour of Black History Month. We’ll be learning about the history of Black communities in Leeds, and those who have paved the way towards racial justice, while sketching key areas in the city centre. The Walk will be in Leeds city centre (meeting point to be confirmed) at 5.30pm on Tuesday 13 October. No prior experience or knowledge of either history or sketching is required, and we’ll provide you with paper and a pencil!
