Ossett Market
The outdoor markets in Ossett town centre have been a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike for decades. Both Tuesday and Friday markets are busy, with close to 40 permanent traders and a good mix of casual ones spread across both days. As for the range of goods available; let’s just say you’ll never need to visit the middle aisle of a certain supermarket ever again!
Top Tip
There’s a flea market selling handcrafted and second-hand goods held in Ossett Town Hall every Tuesday and Friday.
Interesting Fact
Online shopping may be having a massive impact on high streets across the country, but the popularity of Ossett Market certainly isn’t waning, it’s currently ranked as the top attraction in the town on Trip Advisor.
