Brighouse & Rastrick Band
Brighouse & Rastrick Band is most known for its 1977 hit parade success The Floral Dance which reached No 2 in the UK charts. High profile appearances on live television at the BBC Folk Music Awards with The Unthanks, and at CarFest, are just some of the ways that the band has expanded its popularity. With 140 years of proud history, the band is still fiercely financially independent and continues to maintain great traditions on its continued quest for musical excellence. In 2025, Brighouse & Rastrick Band won the British Open Championship, its eighth British Open title, solidifying its reputation as a world-class ‘public subscription band’.
