Leeds Tequila Festival 2024

20th July 2024

For the last two Summers, we have had the opportunity to showcase a new area of spirits for us – one we’ve always wanted to shout about, and we are thrilled to be continuing this for a third year. Fun and education are at the heart of what we do at Studio Events, so we were so delighted to see how receptive people were to the world of tequila.

Tequila and other Mexican spirits such as Mezcal and Sotol have never been more available than they have today with it being the second highest selling spirit in the US in 2023! Whether you have just discovered the world of agave or simply enjoy a delicious margarita, Leeds Tequila Festival has something for all levels of interest.

In July 2024, we are bringing together some of the most exciting Mexican brands and their ambassadors to give you insight into these excellent liquids. Keep checking our social channels and this page for updates.

For 2024 we also have a new home. The Howard Assembly Room is Opera North’s historic “hidden gem” within the Leeds Grand Theatre. The original Victorian performance space, which has recently been restored to its former grandeur, with original impressive stained-glass windows and barrel-vaulted ceiling, has been regenerated to present a modern and contemporary feel.

Included in your ticket will be:

Tequila and Mexican spirits – all samples – from over 50 different brands. A wide range of tequilas, mezcals and other Mexican liquids such as Sotol

Exclusive Masterclasses – hosting a series of interactive discussions about the category

DJs from Released Records creating the perfect atmosphere

You will also have access to….

The Latitude bottle shop – selling exclusive and rare products to take home

Howard Assembly Room bar – featuring discounted tequila cocktails alongside an accessible selection of beers, wines and softs

Bespoke Food offering curated by Kino’s Head Chef, former MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist Josh Whitehead
