Shaun is 12, restless, and searching for somewhere to belong in a bleak seaside town. When he falls in with a charismatic group of skinheads, he discovers friendship, style, music, parties, and a new sense of identity. But the arrival of a recently released racist agitator threatens to tear the group apart, pulling Shaun into increasingly dangerous territory.
