York House Hotel
York House Hotel is a charming 18th Century building, located in the heart of Wakefield’s City Centre, just a short walk from Wakefield Westgate railway station offering stylish, comfortable and contemporary accommodation.
All rooms are all en- suite and come equipped with a flat screen television, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and hairdryer facilities.
There are also two fully functional disabled rooms with lifts to all floors, a 24 hour front desk for your convenience and the fabulous Sloanes restaurant on site (currently closed).
A free car park with CCTV for your security is available for all our residents.
The award winning Hepworth Gallery is less than a mile away and the beautiful Yorkshire Sculpture Park is only 7 miles. Great for art enthusiasts.
With excellent transport links to the M62/ M1 / A1 and Leeds/Bradford International Airport and the close proximity to Wakefield Westgate rail station (from which you can be in London in only 2 hours), its the perfect base for transport links to anywhere in the country.
The hotel is just next door to Theatre Royal Wakefield and the City Centre making it the ideal venue for taking advantage of the city’s fantastic shopping facilities and Wakefield’s vibrant night life.
