Fir Tree Cottage
This lovely, stone-built cottage with its own garden is situated in the village of Huby, south of Harrogate, surrounded by beautiful countryside and yet only ten minutes from Harrogate and Harewood.
It adjoins Fir Tree House, home of Edwardian photographer Alfred Atkinson, featured in ‘A Richer Dust’ and the TV documentary ‘Atkinson Huby’. The spacious cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard. It is ideal for a relaxing holiday yet within easy reach of Harrogate, Leeds and York for the business man or tourist and also an excellent touring base for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and the many other delights the area has to offer.
Accommodation: Entrance leading to an attractive lounge incorporating a stone fire place with open fire – fuel available locally. Spacious dining area with pine table, chairs, dresser and settee. Well fitted and equipped kitchen. Stairs leading to double and twin bedrooms (with extra 2’6 single by arrangement). Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and toilet.
Services: Double glazing, Economy 7 storage heaters and central heating on timed convector heaters, electric fire, open fire. Electric oven, hob & extractor. Auto washer, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge, small freezer and dishwasher. Colour TV, video, radio/cassette/CD, telephone. Cot and high chair available.
Own private, lawned garden, safe for children with garden furniture and BBQ on request. Off the road parking. One, well-behaved dog by special arrangement only. Electricity by meter reading (storage heating and hot water on white meter). Telephone calls paid for as used. All bed linen and towels included in the rent.
