Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon
Inspired by Leeds Rhinos hero Rob, who sadly died after battling with MND, the 2026 Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will see over 10,000 participants take on a 26.2-mile route through Leeds.
Taking in some of Leeds’ most scenic countryside and outer suburbs, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon is a fitting tribute to the city that launched Rob’s incredible career and where he called home.
The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon is about more than just running, it’s about running together with mates, for a mate. Kevin Sinfield’s fundraising missions in support of Rob and the wider MND community have inspired and brought hope to so many of those living with MND.
We have received countless inspiring stories from runners who have been spurred on to take part in honour of Rob or who have been inspired to “Run for a mate, with a mate” just as Kev has.
This is an event that truly is for everyone, so whether you are an experienced runner or have never thought about running an event before, we welcome all abilities to join us in 2026 for this very special event.
