Open Mic – at Leeds Libraries in partnership with Launchpad
Looking for a laid-back space to share your creativity? Join Leeds Libraries in partnership with Launchpad for an Open Mic Night at Leeds Central Library. Taking place every final Wednesday of the month from 5pm until 7:30pm.
Whether you’re experienced or just want to try something new, this is your chance to hop on stage and show what you’ve got in a super chill, welcoming environment. No pressure, just good vibes and good people.

Participants must be under 25, under 16s accompanied by a parent/carer.
By registering for this event you agree the Open Mic code of conduct*
*Open mic code of conduct / expectations:
Under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult
Be kind and courteous to other performers, staff and audience members
No swearing, offensive or explicit lyrics
Treat the building, fixtures and all equipment with respect
No running
No shouting
Participants are asked to arrive at the start of the evening to check in and support the rest of the open mic performers. It would also be great to stick around until the end to support the other performers.
The open mic is a safe space. We have a zero tolerance policy – we do not tolerate anything racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, or in any way prejudiced against someones identity or body.
