A little birdy told me… Look out! Stories are nesting!
Did you know February is one of the best times to look and listen for birds?
As winter loosens its grip and spring begins to stir, birds across the city are busy chatting, calling, sharing stories and secrets.
At Leeds Libraries, something curious has appeared. Tucked away on shelves and corners, story bird boxes have begun to nest. Each box holds a tiny world inside, filled with pictures, clues, and hints of a story waiting to be discovered.
Who might live inside? Where have they come from, and what do they have to tell us?
Have a peep inside a box and let your imagination take flight. Follow the clues, invent a tale, or simply listen to what the story might become. No two stories will be the same.
