This Easter, it’s all about the Birds and the Bumblebees at Tropical World.
Discover the exotic birds that live in our waterfall house, see how many you can find using our NEW Spotter Sheet.
Find out about our work with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to protect Roundhay Park’s bees. Our Tropical World team take part in monthly summer BeeWalk surveys to monitor bumblebee numbers. Follow the trail and see if you can spot a bumblebee.
Enjoy a fabulous family outing to Tropical World, where our indoor zoo is warm and cosy whatever the weather.

Head into the waterfall house to discover our colourful exotic birds and use the Spotter Sheet to tick off each one you find!
Keeper Talks
Stop by and listen to one of our Keeper talks daily at 2pm and discover more about the exotic birds in our collection.
Children’s Craft Activities
Drop into our Activity Room and make a bug hotel for your garden or do some colouring. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Tropical World Café
Treat yourself to a tasty Easter themed snack, breakfast or lunch in our light and bright café, we’ve a wide range including cold sandwiches and salads, or delicious hot snacks including soup, jacket potatoes, toasted sandwiches and paninis. Tropical Lookout will be open (weather permitting) for a snack on the go, grab a sizzling slice or a whole stone baked pizza, cooked especially for you in our pizza oven.
Children under 3 are FREE.
