Brudenell Piano Sessions: Piano Day 2026
For this year’s Piano Day, Brudenell Piano Sessions invites you to an evening where the piano takes centre stage – bridging genres and lighting up the beautiful surroundings of the Howard Assembly Room.
Rooted in the collaborative spirit of the Leeds music scene, this special event brings together a range of local partners including Opera North, Leeds International Piano Competition, DJ Lubi & Brudenell Social Club to celebrate the many voices, traditions, and possibilities of music made for and brought to life on the piano.
This uniquely varied evening of live music spans the janky art-pop of Northern multi-instrumentalist Dilettante; the vibrant blend of classical, jazz, and Afro-Cuban, Latin and Caribbean rhythms from Cuban pianist Elio Rojas; and the striking classical virtuosity of Yorkshire-based Ukrainian pianist Daria Golovchenko.
Join us for an evening of captivating performances, with pre-and post-show drinks and more live music downstairs in Kino – a night shaped by discovery, connection, and the shared joy of gathering around the piano. Tickets are on sale now – come and celebrate Piano Day with us!
