Django Durrant – ‘Stories As You Pass By’ Album Tour
Django Durrant is an indie-folk artist and producer who blends lusciously mixed rhythms, meandering melodies, and dark fantastical lyricism to tell stories through music. His debut album ‘Stories As You Pass By’ takes the listener on a walk through the woods where a character lies in wait behind every song. Django’s live show brings his album to the stage delving deeper into the weird world he’s created within the underbelly of the forest by weaving even more songs seamlessly into the set.
Fig by Four is multi-instrumentalist Sarah Statham, who weaves ethereal thoughts on connection and growth into a melting pot of dynamic, colourful and sincere musical storytelling. In the project, Sarah sings, plays guitar, bass, drums and keys – gigging with a live band to bring the songs to life.
Her debut album Capture Reveal was released in October 2023. Hinged on pensive lyrics, dynamic rhythms, characterful guitars, harmonies and ear-catching basslines, the record set out a strong intention for establishing explorational themes which have the ability to engage with audiences in various and always-affirming ways.
Her as yet un-named second album is due for release in 2026, with a live solo-session version of Surgeon Song released in January.
Meriel is a violinist and vocalist whose music blends the richness of folk traditions and stories with contemporary sounds. Rooted in her musical upbringing in Welsh and English folk music, she composes using loops and electronic effects to create multilayered string arrangements and polyrhythmic textures that act as a base for her songwriting.
Growing up in rural West Wales, Meriel’s compositions reflect the emotions and experiences of her journey into adulthood, often drawing inspiration from the landscapes and memories of her childhood home.
With her newly formed Leeds-based band featuring Emily Keeble on cello and vocals, Leo Thomas on drums and Samwise Seidel on guitar, Meriel and her band are exploring new textures and soundscapes that range from energetic to more delicate moments.
