Leeds Central Library

Leeds Central Library is a public library, situated in the city centre on Calverley Street, it houses the city library service’s single largest general lending and reference collection. The Grade-II listed building opened in 1884 and features beautiful staircases and colourful tiles. It is a must-see to read and study, admire the building, or enjoy a beverage in the Tiled Hall café.

The library has free WiFi for public use, activities for all ages and computer, printing and photocopying facilities. Friendly staff are always available to help you find the information you need.
