MEATliquor Leeds
Opened in September 2014, MEATliquor Leeds is the sixth incarnation of the cult burger joint which started off the back of The MEATwagon, a South London burger van, in 2009. The signature burger, The Dead Hippie, should be your first port of call, followed by the gloriously sticky Monkey Fingers. Vegetarians aren’t left wanting either, with the Halloumi & Mushroom burger featuring in The Evening Standard’s round-up of its top five veggie burgers. MEATliquor are famous for their cocktails, and rightly so, but don’t overlook the wide range of beers and ciders both on tap and in cans. With 2 bars and 2 restaurants over 2 floors, a games room with a pool table & dart board and DJ’s late night, this venue pays homage to the heyday of the working mens’ clubs and the heady days of the Northern Soul scene… Come. Eat. Drink. Dance.
Burgers & dogs, cocktails & beers
Did you know… As well as restaurants in Marylebone, Covent Garden, Shoreditch, Brighton, Brixton & Leeds, there’s also a radio station, MEATtransMISSION.com and a book: The MEATliquor Chronicles”
